ICE IN GREEN BAY, DUBUQUE THIS WEEKEND
TEAM RETURNS FOR “PACK THE HOUSE FOR CHARITY” NEXT FRIDAY (2/10)
INDIANAPOLIS—The Indiana Ice continue their four-game road stretch this weekend with games against the Green Bay Gamblers this evening and the Dubuque Fighting Saints on Saturday. Both games start at 8:05 pm.
Indy is coming off a 1-1-1 weekend, losing 5-4 in a shootout against the Chicago Steel Friday before rebounding for a 5-3 victory against the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Saturday. The Ice then rounded out the “hat trick” weekend with a 6-2 loss to the league-leading Green Bay Gamblers in Wisconsin.
Green Bay (163) and Indy (131) are the top two goal scoring teams in the USHL this season. The Gamblers hold the series lead against the Ice this season with a 4-1-0 record, while Jake Fallon leads Indy with six points (3G, 3A) in five meetings with Green Bay.
The Ice are 2-1-0 against the defending Clark Cup Champion Fighting Saints. Dubuque has amassed an impressive 11-2-2 record at home while Indiana remains one of the top travelling teams in the USHL, going 11-4-3 away from the “Circle City.”
Hockey returns to Indianapolis next Friday (2/10) as the Ice host Chicago in the 18th annual “Pack the House for Charity” night from Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The game is presented by Ray’s Trash and begins at 7:05 pm. A portion of the proceeds from individual and group ticket sales will be donated to local charities. Indy will close out next weekend against Muskegon on Saturday (2/11) from the Pepsi Coliseum. The puck is set to drop at 7:05 pm.
Tickets for next weekend’s home games start as low as $10 and there is a $2 discount for children 10 and under and seniors 62 and over.
