PRACTICE SCHEDULE: The Ice is scheduled to practice at Pan Am Plaza Tuesday from 2:55-4:55 pm and Wednesday from 3:10-4:20 pm.

NO SLEEP TILL FARGO: The Indiana Ice continue down the middle stretch of their six-game road stretch after splitting a pair of weekend contests.  Indy posted a 29-shot performance in a 3-2 victory over Team USA on Friday from Pan Am Plaza.  Woody Hudson, Drew Smolcynski and Brian Morgan lit the lamp for Indy while Dalton Izyk logged his second win in net.  A pair of late goals stymied a third period comeback as the Ice fell to the Muskegon Lumberjacks 4-1 on Saturday from L.C. Walker Arena.  Rinat Valiev scored the lone tally in the contest.

BACK TO BACK: Forward Brian Morgan has proved to be a vital part of the Indy offense as the first-year forward is tied for first in the USHL with two game-winning goals. Morgan, a University of Maine commit, comes to the Ice after a two-year stint with the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs, where he led the team with 57 points (22G, 35A) during the 2011-2012 season.

DOUSING THE LAMPS: In his second year with the Ice, Dalton Izyk has been solid in net as the Oswego, NY native is currently tied for second in the league in wins (2) and third in minutes played (179:10).  Izyk also holds one of the league’s two recorded shutouts after blanking the Omaha Lancers 2-0 in the home opener in late September.

INDY’S “D” IS GRADE-A:  The Ice has yet again shown their special teams prowess as they are a perfect six-for-six on road penalty kills and have successfully killed 15 of 16 opponent power plays.  Indy’s strict defense has also limited opponent’s scoring opportunities, owning the league’s second lowest shots per game average (23.25).

PLAYER CHOPS: Both of Woody Hudson’s goals have been scored in the first period…Robbie Baillargeon is tied for second in power play assists (2)…Josh Jacobs is second among defensemen in shots on net (11)…Austin Ortega is tied for second in the league in shots on net (17).

TEAM TENDERS: The Ice has outshot their opponent in all four contests…Indiana has only allowed four goals in the first and second period this season…Indy is 6-3-0 against this weekend’s opponents over the past two seasons.  The Eastern Conference is 9-1-0 against the West this season.
