Jake Evans was drafted by the Indiana Ice in the third round of the 2012 USHL Futures Draft (35th overall). The Toronto, ON native spent the 2011-2012 season with the Mississauga Rebels U16 squad and currently play for the St. Michael's Buzzers (OJHL). Evans was also selected to represent Canada East in the 2012 World Junior A Challenge in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
