USA Scout

Dutch Barrett is a USA scout for the Indiana Ice.   

The native of Cloquet, MN has been with the Ice from the second year on and is a former player in the USHL with both Waterloo and Rochester. He also played college hockey for a brief time at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Previous stints in coaching include serving as an Assistant Coach at Cloquet Senior High School for six years and a goaltender coach/hockey coordinator for the Wichita Falls Rustlers who are now the Wildcats of the North American Hockey League. Upon moving to Indianapolis, he also spent a year coaching the Indianapolis Checkers 1990 squad.

Barrett has been in Indianapolis for eight years and also works as a firefighter. He is married to wife, Erin and the two have a daughter, Liv.
