Assistant Coach

Matt Plante is the assistant coach of the Indiana Ice.  This will be Plante’s first season with the Ice.

Plante comes to Indiana after a four-year coaching stint as the bench boss at Hebron Academy, an elite New England prep school in Southern Maine. Under Plante’s leadership, Hebron finished the 2010-2011 season with a 20-12-2 record.

In addition to his experience coaching elite prep schools, Plante spent two years as associate head coach at Wesleyan University and  two seasons on the bench with the UConn Huskies.

Prior to his coaching experience, Plante played left wing for the Bobcats of Quinnipiac University.
